Hi friends,

Thank you so much for stopping by my page. Words cannot express how excited I am to watch this next chapter of my life unfold.

Many of you know that the country of Moldova has been on my heart for two years. Moldova is a small country in eastern Europe between Romania and Ukraine.

My journey to get there has been so beautiful and I hope that you will partner with me as we watch this season of my life together.

Missions was never something that I envisioned myself doing. When I look back on my life I’ve realized that the foundation of missions has always been evident in my life. The desire is getting stronger and stronger everyday.

In high school I co-founded a Bible club. I was terrified, but I knew that I wanted to share the Gospel and build relationships with others. Everything worked out so beautifully. A teacher (SHOUT OUT TO MS. HAYNIE) helped sponsor our organization. We built a team of leaders and we had the support of several teachers and a couple of churches in town. This dream of mine turned into reality. THIS is when my journey to missions truly began.

In college I joined a Christian organization, Chi Alpha. My biggest fear was turning away from my faith when I entered college, but I found love and support through this ministry. I’ve grown so much since Chi Alpha welcomed me in 2013. I joined the leadership team in 2014. I’ve ministered and encouraged dozens of young women over the years. I’ve learned that university ministry is the most strategic and the sweetest mission field. I’ve cried, laughed and prayed with many. I’ve gained so many amazing friendships. And through this ministry, I’ve decided to pursue missions.

In 2015 I met two missionaries to Moldova, John and Adriana Lungu. There was a pressing desire on my heart to be part of the amazing work that they’re doing in Moldova. As they were speaking at a leadership conference I attended, I began to dream and make plans. I pictured myself in Moldova (a country I knew absolutely nothing about) writing and ministering to millennials. I saw myself using my journalism skills to share the greatest news I know—the Gospel.

These dreams of mine are slowly becoming a reality.

On May 23 I will be traveling to Moldova with a small team of Chi Alpha students where we will be partnering with John and Adriana Lungu to help establish university ministry within the capitol city.

My hope is that you can join my team financially and in prayer. Please know that no amount is too little. May God richly bless you as you consider partnering with me. I encourage you to follow my journey on social media (#AdventureToMoldova).

Here are a few ways you can pray about Moldova:

  •  Pray for the Moldovans and the team of missionaries that are sharing the love of Jesus.
  • Moldova is Europe’s poorest nation due to persistent and unresolved political problems, lack of industry,  and the lingering effects of communism. Pray that the government and leaders will wisely and effectively address these devastating and costly challenges.
  • Moldova is the source for the largest number of young women lured abroad into human trafficking rings. Pray for the victims. Ask Jesus to bring rescue and supernaturally restore their hearts and bodies.
  • Pray for our Chi Alpha team as we prepare for our trip.
