This project was my final project in my web design and publishing class. Me and two group members created a website for the future Texas State bobcats. We wanted to give incoming and potential TXST students a perspective of the university through our eyes. With this project I wanted to give people a virtual tour, so I used a 360º camera and filmed myself walking through campus. Check out the site here.

I designed the logo and the website for my church, Family Worship Center. I used Twitter Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, Photoshop and JavaScript to piece everything together. While working on this website I realized that I was overly obsessed with coding. Click here to check out the site.

This is the very first website that my classmates and I created for our writing for mass media class. We interviewed, recorded and attended an event hosted by Harambee, a hip-hop dance and step team. Throughout this project I realized that I loved designing and producing content.

I had the time of my life spending three months with NBC 5 the summer of 2016. I learned so much about the industry, and I was reminded everyday of my love and passion for the media. While with NBC 5, I worked with the community affairs department. Our team was  small, but we accomplished so much. Here are only a few articles I wrote for the NBC 5 Community Page.

I had my story about a local celebrity published in the University Star my freshman year of college. Dillon Scott was one of my favorite interviewees.

While at NBC 5, I designed this :15 spot for Summer Santa. I used Final Cut Pro and After Effects. FUN! FUN! FUN!

When people ask me to  highlight my internship I always mention Clear the Shelters. On July 23, 2016 many shelters NATIONWIDE waived animal adoption fees in hopes of clearing the shelters. In DFW over 6,000 animals found forever homes. This event was definitely a LOT of work, but it was so worth it. I had the opportunity to be on-site with the production team while they shot video for promos. I took photos and helped come up with pet names for the notecards on the table.

I produced this video for my web design class. We were in the process of getting familiar with editing video.

I’ve developed a lot of my skills and experience during my college years. I’m currently majoring in journalism with a concentration in digital media and minoring in criminal justice at Texas State University. I’m working on finishing my last year of college.  Go BOBCATS!
